FAQs
Do I need to have PCOS to work with you?
No, you do not need to have PCOS to work with me.
While much of my work supports women with PCOS, I also work with women who want help understanding their body, improving energy, reducing inflammation, and building sustainable health habits.
If you do have PCOS, it will be a central part of our work. If you do not, we focus on creating realistic strategies that support your long term health so you can feel more in control of your body.
What makes your approach different?
My approach looks at the body as a connected system, not separate parts.
As a certified health coach with a clinical background, I focus on how inflammation, metabolism, hormones, and daily habits all work together.
Most women are given pieces of information, but no one helps them connect the full picture.
That is where I come in. I help you understand what is happening in your body and what to do next.
What happens during a coaching session?
Each session is a conversation designed to help you better understand your body and your patterns.
We explore areas like daily habits, stress, sleep, inflammation, oral health, and lifestyle factors that may be affecting how you feel. From there, we identify simple, realistic changes you can actually maintain.
This is not about perfection or strict plans. It is about building sustainable habits and helping you finally understand what your body has been trying to tell you in a way that actually fits your life.
How is this different from seeing my doctor?
Your doctor diagnoses and prescribes which is essential. But most medical visits, however, are limited in time, leaving little space to support day-to-day implementation of their recommendations into your real, messy, busy life. That’s where I come in. I bridge the gap between diagnosis/recommendations and daily living. Think of me as your translator and implementer – I help you understand what your doctor recommends, why it matters for YOUR body, and how to actually do it in a sustainable way.
I’m 42 and size 16. Is this program still for me?
Yes. PCOS doesn’t discriminate by age or size, and neither do I. Whether you’re 19 or 59, whether you have PCOS in a smaller body or a larger body, whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been navigating this for decades – you deserve personalized care. The Fusion PATHWAY adapts to YOUR body and YOUR life, exactly as they are.
I’m scared of being judged about my weight or eating habits.
I get it. Many women come to me carrying years of shame from healthcare providers who reduced their entire health story to a number on a scale. That’s not what happens here. This is a judgment-free zone. Your body is not a problem to fix – it’s a system to understand and support. We focus on adding in nourishment, not restriction, and on building self-trust, not self-criticism.
What if I can’t stick to a path (plan)?
First, there is no perfect path. Life is messy, bodies are complex, and healing isn’t linear. We build flexibility INTO your path, not as a backup but as the foundation. If something isn’t working, we adjust. No guilt. No starting over. Just course recalibration as we go. Your path works for you, not the other way around.
Will you give me a meal plan and exercise routine?
Not in the traditional sense. I don’t believe in one size fits all plans because your body, your life, and your preferences are unique. Instead, we work together to understand what YOUR body needs, which foods support YOU and what movement feel good for YOUR body. You’ll learn how to make informed choices rather than follow rigid rules so the changes actually stick.
Do I need to lose weight to work with you?
Absolutely not. Weight loss is not a prerequisite for healing or for being worthy of compassionate care. While often a women’s weight changes during our work together as inflammation decreases and their body functions more efficiently, it’s never the sole goal or measure of success. We focus on how you FEEL, how your body FUNCTIONS, and building trust with your body at ANY size.
Can you cure my PCOS?
No and I won’t promise that. PCOS is a chronic, complex metabolic, endocrine condition, not something that can be ‘cured.’ But it CAN be managed, symptoms can improve significantly, and you can absolutely feel better in your body. My role is to help you understand your condition, reduce inflammation, support healthy hormone function, and build sustainable habits that make living with PCOS more manageable and far less overwhelming.
